Where Does Digimation Data Come From?

Most Digimation 3D Models are created from actual 3D reference pictures or models. What does that mean? 95% of our Vehicles are digitized from the actual vehicle. Aircraft are usually digitized from scale models and checked for accuracy against known dimensions. Clients looking to Digimation to create characters usually send a sculpture or maquette to model. In those cases where the only type of reference material available is drawings or sketches, our talented crew can work with that as well. The Digimation catalog of 3D models not only represents the largest collection of 3D models available, but the most accurate as well.

Digimation artists utilize virtually all of the available 3D input devices to digitize our models. These products include digitizers from Cyberware, Faro, Polhemus, Immersion, and more. While some of these products are readily available to most 3D enthusiasts, Digimation capabilities are rare in that we combine all of these digitizing technologies with the finest 3D modeling software from companies such as Alias, Softimage, Discreet, MultiGen, Luxology, Side Effects, Paraform and many more, to create the finest 3D models anywhere.
